  COMotion Team Results 07

Team founder Stephen Lechner once again put together an unstoppable group of dedicated cross country races for the 2007 season. Normal year-to-year turn over for all race teams can be as high as 40%. This fact requires insightful and methodical recruitment each year to rebuild and maintain a championship team.

This year's winning team not only produced an unparallel 5th Mountain States Cup Series championship but 3 Colorado cross country state champions. Jon Chambers, Matt Juth and Megan Castle were crowned state champions at the July 14th Blast the Mass affair held at Snowmass Mountain Resort.

COMotion Sports team members also participated in a number of other events in preparation of the MSC title including ACA road races, fund raising centuries, the Breckenridge 100, Firecracker 50, Park City, Utah nationals, Winter Park series races, 24 Hours of Moab endurance event and cyclo-cross gatherings across Colorado. Late season racers Catherine Chalecki and Chris Butler even traveled to Michigan to participate in the nationally known “Iceman Cometh” winter enduro.

Exciting things are brewing for the 2008 season. New racers, new MSC venues and expanded participation by COMotion Sports racers will insure another record setting season.
